Water to Wind

Eldest daughter,

What if you didn't have to lead?

What if you could just be?

What if you could just live?

For yourself.

What if you didn't have to make waves?

Make peace?

Make up?

What if you could simply flow?

Like water.

Like wind.

Nourished and nourishing.

Moving.

Free.

Being.

Becoming.

Receiving.

How might your life be different?

Tonight I sat in community, facilitated by the always wonderful Mimi Young, and contemplated Water over Water/Hexagram 29/The Abysmal during this time of Samhain. We connected with well-seated ancestors and Beloved Dead, the spirit of The Abysmal, and received messages through the trigrams of the I Ching. My message was Wind. Water changing to Wind.

The above stream of consciousness writing came to mind moments ago as I reflect on what has recently been going on in my life. The Wind trigram is associated with the Eldest Daughter, which is me.

This seems appropriate and meaningful. I will leave it here for further reflection. For remembering. Another clue. Another signpost. "I was here".
